Yes. Contact customer support or visit your local Express Auto Spa location to transfer your membership to a different vehicle.

If you wish to cancel your membership, please contact customer support via email at [email protected] or call / text (732) 784-1753. Cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to your next billing cycle to avoid being charged. Please note that we cannot issue refunds for past cycles.

Oil Change FAQ

We currently offer oil change services at our Lakewood, Toms River and Jersey City locations As we continue to grow and expand there will be more locations with oil changes in the future!
An oil change typically takes 15-30 minutes depending on the workload.
A basic oil change includes draining the old oil, replacing the oil filter, and refilling the engine with fresh oil.

The price of an oil change varies depending on your car’s make, model, and the type of oil used. Generally, expect to pay between $55 and $100 which excludes any extras and varies a bit by location.

Also, a FREE car wash is included with every oil change!

In addition to the oil change, you can customize your service by choosing from a variety of add-on options. These services are also available individually (a la carte) if you prefer. 


Tire rotation (Toms River Only): This involves moving your tires to different positions on your car in order to help them wear more evenly. Wiper Blade Replacement: Worn wiper blades can streak and smear your windshield, so it’s important to replace them periodically. 


Air Filter Replacement: The air filter traps dirt and debris from the air that enters your engine. A clogged air filter can reduce your engine’s performance and fuel efficiency. Replacing your air filter is a relatively simple service that can often be done at the same time as an oil change. 


Differential service: This involves draining and replacing the gear oil in your differential. The differential is a part of your car’s drivetrain that helps to transfer power from the engine to the wheels. 


Engine Flush: An engine flush is a service that is designed to remove sludge and buildup from your engine’s internal components. 


Tire Plug (Toms River and Lakewood Only): A tire plug is a temporary repair for a small puncture in your tire. If you have a flat tire, a tire plug may be a quick and easy way to get back on the road. However, it is important to note that a tire plug is not a permanent repair, and you will eventually need to have the tire patched or replaced. 


Battery Replacement: Your car’s battery typically needs to be replaced every 3-5 years. 


Light bulb replacement: Headlights, Brake lights, turn signals, etc…
Lucas Additive (Lakewood & Toms River Only): Lucas Additive is a brand of automotive additives that are designed to improve engine performance or protect your engine from wear and tear. 


Cabin Air Filter Replacement: The cabin air filter helps to filter out dust, pollen, and other allergens from the air that enters your car’s cabin. This is the air that you breathe in, this is something that is generally overlooked and it shouldn’t be.

Your car requires a specific type and viscosity of oil. This information can be found in your car’s owner’s manual. You can also look for a sticker inside the engine bay or under the hood.
Consult your owner’s manual for the recommended oil change interval for your car. It typically falls between 3,000 and 7,500 miles, but can vary depending on factors like driving conditions and oil type.
Regular oil changes are crucial for your engine’s health. Fresh oil lubricates moving parts, reduces friction, and helps keep the engine cool. Dirty oil loses its effectiveness and can lead to increased wear and tear, reduced engine performance, and even engine failure.

Here are some warning signs: 

  • Illuminated oil change light on your dashboard
  • A grinding or knocking sound from the engine
  • Black, sludgy oil on the dipstick
  • Increased oil consumption
Synthetic and semi-synthetic oils offer better performance than conventional oil. Full synthetic oil is the top tier, providing the best lubrication and protection, especially for extreme weather conditions and lasts longer between oil changes.
